The 2018 December to Remember contest has come to close and we are thrilled to announce the grand prize winner, Julian Sconyers. We reached out for a comment and here’s what he had to say:
I must say that I am still in shock over the table saw. It is certainly like winning the lottery for a woodworker.
I am a 70-year-old Christian and real estate broker/appraiser and live in a small town in SE Georgia. I have been doing real estate appraisals and woodworking for the past 45+ years. I am also a member of the city council and enjoy serving our small town. As I begin to slow down a bit at work I am looking forward to spending more time in my shop and the new table saw will certainly be the center of the shop. I enjoy building small furniture, restoring old woodworking tools, and most of all making toys for the kids. There is nothing better than the smile on a child’s face when getting a new wooden toy. My youngest granddaughter (age 6) really likes horses and I just finished building her a stable for her toy horses and the smile on her face was worth every minute spent. Maybe at some point, she will want a dollhouse.
Julian won the Jet JPS-10 1.75 HP 115V 30” ProShop Table Saw.
I’ve included the full list of daily winners below. If you haven’t been contacted by a representative yet, please let me know!
