Mike Siemsen (who’s also teaching this year) will once again be in the Marketplace with the Society of American Period Furniture Makers to run the Hand Tool Olympics (lots of fun – and great prizes!) and Deneb Puchalski will no doubt be causing trouble at the Lie-Nielsen booth.
Woodworking in America 2013 is October 18-20 at the Northern Kentucky Convention center. It’s three days of woodworking fun and education sessions (47 of them!), plus two days of the Marketplace – where you can see and try out the best collection of tools under one roof anywhere, and talk with the makers (that’s not hyperbole – check out who’s coming so far, with more to add!) Plus, we’ve brought back the Conference Banquet this year, so we can all join together for drinks and laughs, with a special presentation by Plimoth Plantation joiner Peter Follansbee, emceed by Roy “The Woodwright” Underhill.
