After most of the ledge length was shaped I began dealing with a broken sloped part of the ledge.
Using a chisel I cut out a basin for a small piece of teak.
I glued the piece over with epoxy adhesive.
Then I shaped it to match the contours of the beaded ledge.
Using a chisel (bevel down) I shaped the curve.
After a few seconds with sand paper, the structural restoration was over and the piece was in line for staining and finishing.
