To wrap up my blogging about the ten year anniversary of the Eliot House Woodworking Program I would like to show a few images of projects by our devoted students. Some of them are by now in graduate programs, others are successful professionals or academics in their fields. Still, all share a passion for woodworking, craft, and have become life-long allies and appreciative of all things built by hand.
Here are a few of the beautiful objects that they built:
Elissa and her impressive mahogany table.
Shira's Dr. Seuss inspired box:
Ellenor's faboiles carrot cake.
Lisa's mirror:
Mike's table:
Next time I will show pictures from our end-of-the year student's show and the contraption we built in the grand library to canopy over it.
Here are some supplies and tools we find essential in our everyday work around the shop. We may receive a commission from sales referred by our links; however, we have carefully selected these products for their usefulness and quality.
