In my second blog entry on the Israeli Woodworking event I will show some great woodworking by talanted artists.
In first two pictures you can see my friend Ron giving a demo on hand tool woodworking. Ron joined the "hand tool party" a few years ago. Over the years he compiled an impressive collection of hand tools including the state of the art Lie-Nielsen planes. Ron is a graduate of several woodworking workshops including one that took at Homestead-heritage school of woodworking in Texas last year. He build this bench top vise (notice the vise's wooden hand screw) to allow him to securely clamp items to almost any table or desk top.
Avihay is a woodturner living in the north of Israel . Here is one of the pieces that he made.
And here is very nice looking Menorah made by Beny.
On my next blog entry I will show works by a fantastic artist who build unique pieces from wood segments.
Here are some supplies and tools we find essential in our everyday work around the shop. We may receive a commission from sales referred by our links; however, we have carefully selected these products for their usefulness and quality.
