Woodworking begins with sharpening. There really isn’t any way around the subject if you want to take the craft seriously. Too often, many of us limp around using dull chisels and plane blades because sharpening feels like a tall task. But if you take just a moment, and learn the principals of sharpening, you’ll be delighted to find out that it’s neither difficult or mysterious. Anyone can properly sharpen their equipment. While you’re at it, learn from a master, Ron Hock, and you won’t be disappointed. Heres a few works from Hock:
