BUT THAT WAS WASTED JOURNEY,AS POLICE WERE TOLD BY TIMBER COMPANY WHO,S BOAT SANK THEY COULD NOT HAVE IT. SHAME AS IT MAY BE SALTED TIMBER BUT WOULD TAKE MONTHS EVEN YEARS TO DRY OUT. 6 X 2 4 X 2 3 X 2 ALL 12 TO 16 FOOT LONG.I WAS IN BRIGHTON AT THE TIME WHICH IS 10 MILES AWAY.SOME TIMBERS CAME TO BRIGHTON BEACH BUT MOST WENT TO WORTHING BEACH .IN THEN END CONTRACTOR FOR THE WORTHING COUNCIL WERE TOLD TO COLLECT IT ALL AND TURN IT INTO CHIPPINGS. AND AS TO THE BUILDERS VANS WAITING TO LOAD THE TIMBER FOR FREE TO TAKE AWAY BAD LUCK .
