Two-Wheel Mobile Base

Here’s my quick and cheap solution for making a contractor-style tablesaw mobile. I glued a piece of 2×4 to a 2×6 and added a pair of
2-in. non-swiveling casters. (For this setup they are easier to steer than the swiveling type.) Then I bolted the 2×6 portion of this assembly to the legs of my saw so the casters just touched the floor. To move the saw I lift up the on the other side of the saw so it tips up onto the wheels. This lifts the legs off the ground and I am on my way.
