The base cabinets laying face side down on the workbench, I’m able to start closing the back enclosures. We can see the rabbets in which the back panels will sit in.
Being face down, I take the inside measurement of each base cabinet, here 24-1/16’’ to cut the back panels. I will cut them between 24 and 24-1/16’’
When the back panels are glued and nailled, I flip the bases and remove any squezzed out glue with a plastic straw. It is very effective. You cut the tip of the straw as soon it’s stuffed with glue.
