The TS-2 Master Try Square is one of two tools that started Bridge City Tools (the other was the SA-2 Scratch Awl), and for our next issue, John Economaki is writing a bit about his own history, the history of his company, and about how to make the TS-2 (which is no longer in production at BTC – why? Well, John likes to move on to new things).
This week, John was at the Marc Adams School of Woodworking to teach a class in toolmaking, and we caught up with him there yesterday to shoot some pictures and video. So here’s a snippet of what we saw (for the full story, you’ll have to wait for the October issue).

Here are some supplies and tools we find essential in our everyday work around the shop. We may receive a commission from sales referred by our links; however, we have carefully selected these products for their usefulness and quality.
Both are excellent resources!
Love the fine tools at Bridge City and the excellent training at Marc Adams!

Megan,
Very nice post and it makes me realize how much I would have enjoyed that class.

Sweet.
I certainly know what what “not square” sounds like, but it’s probably better to keep this blog PG-13. 🙂
